Every year, used mineral oil is collected from over 35,000 mechanics, workshops and businesses around Australia. That’s 150 million litres.
The used oil is processed over several stages, removing contaminants, metals and additives. The final phase – “hydrogenation” – transforms the oil into a high quality “new again” product.
This virgin-like base oil is exported and used across Australia in cars, trucks, machinery and industry.
